The family route “The salty history of the lagoons”, created by the cultural association Ars Creatio, once again filled the Natural Park of the Lagoons of La Mata and Torrevieja with characters, stories and families. The activity held on October 4 filled the available places through Miss Flamingo, in charge of managing the reservations for this edition.

Learning history does not have to mean sitting around listening. During this dramatized route, children and adults toured the natural environment of the lagoons while different characters appeared along the way to bring them, in a fun and participatory way, some episodes and protagonists linked to the history of Torrevieja and its salt flats.

The experience is part of the program of dramatized routes created by Ars Creatio, a Torrevieja cultural association, which this year has reached its fourth edition.

Along the route, the families met different historical characters played by members of Ars Creatio, turning the landscape of La Mata into the setting for a story in motion.

But the little ones were not simple spectators. Games, questions, contests and different dynamics allowed them to participate while discovering the past of the lagoons and the importance that salt has had in the history of Torrevieja.

As a souvenir of the experience, they received a brochure on salt crafts, a map of the treasures of the lagoons and traditional lumps of salt.

A new collaboration with Miss Flamingo

On the route of October 4, Miss Flamingo collaborated with Ars Creatio by managing the reservations of the activity through its platform, until the available places were filled.

With this collaboration, Miss Flamingo continues to bring local proposals to the public that allow them to discover Torrevieja from different perspectives, connecting culture, heritage, nature and leisure.

The great response of families also shows the interest in experiences in which learning and enjoying go hand in hand.

Would you like to participate in future experiences like this?

At Miss Flamingo we continue to look for new ways to discover Torrevieja and its surroundings.
