The salty history of the lagoons: children’s theatrical tour by Ars Creatio

What would it be like to travel back in time to discover the history of the salt flats of Torrevieja?

“The salty history of the lagoons” is a dramatized route created and organized by the Ars Creatio Cultural Association, designed for children from 7 to 12 years old accompanied by their families, where local history comes to life through characterized characters that appear during the tour.

The experience takes place in the Natural Park of the Lagunas de La Mata-Torrevieja, an environment of great natural value where you will learn in a fun and participatory way how the salt flats emerged, who were some of their protagonists and how they influenced the development of Torrevieja.

During the walk you will meet historical figures from different eras who will help you discover curiosities, anecdotes and events related to salt exploitation and local history.

In addition, children will be able to enjoy small games and challenges during the activity, with the possibility of getting some very tasty prizes.
